About Us

Scope

OKADA Journal of Sociology (OJS) welcomes high quality theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of sociology, in the form of full length original articles (including meta-analyses and reviews of fields of research), as well as book reviews and comments to previously published articles. Both quantitative and qualitative research, Interdisciplinary pieces, submissions from outside the academics, including indigenous scholarship are encouraged. Articles that present research comparing African countries with one another or with other countries are particularly welcome. Maximum total length for original research articles is 6500 words, but shorter contributions are welcome. Book reviews and comments should preferably not exceed 1000 words.
